Popular in 0.040 gauge, aluminum has a baked-on painted enamel finish and is an excellent material for outdoor signage. It can be installed flat to a wall or mounted on posts. If installed to a single post as a street safety sign, or on multiple posts for lawn signage, this rugged material is made to last. We use a product called alumilite which is aluminum with a hard plastic core; this provides more rigidity to substrate and is popular for lawn signage with posts. Aluminum can also be secured to the side of a rack on trucks or commercial vehicles where no solid areas are available for graphics. For walls, we can frame it and also tube it for more rigidity and a more finished boxed-out look. We can custom cut vinyl letters to affix to aluminum or we can apply a full color decal for the ultimate photographic design or heavily detailed graphic. The most popular aluminum is 0.040 gauge but an 0.080 heavier gauge is also available. The 0.080 is used in traffic signs and usually has rounded corners addressing safety concerns as well.

Sizes over 4' x 8' will most likely have seams as this is the standard sheet size. Seamless work can be possible over 8' but it is dependent on material availability and budget for signs.
